Responsibilities

The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a FT UR Coordinator.

We are currently looking for a qualified Utilization Review Coordinator to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals. The UR Coordinator is responsible for interfacing with the treatment team, external case managers and managed care organizations to obtain required authorizations for all levels of care. The UR Coordinator conducts initial and concurrent reviews with insurance companies.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse, LPN, and/or a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology with experience in Utilization Review preferred. Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills are essential. Requires good computer skills. Able to work independently and collegially with all clinical disciplines. Has knowledge of regulatory and insurance reimbursement requirements. Able to monitor and evaluate records for quality and appropriateness of care. Must have good time management skills and ability to multitask.
