Job Title: TIG Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

You will be welding and fabricating parts to complete the manufacturing process. The primary tasks will involve TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum to create manifolds that connect to pumps for water flow, as well as aluminum housings for large pumps. You will work off of blueprints and customize parts for each job, using tools to grind and cut parts for fabrication. The work requires holding tolerances of +- 1/16 and may involve out-of-position welding. Materials worked with are up to 1/4 inch thick.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum.

  • Fabricate and assemble manifolds and aluminum housings for pumps.

  • Work from blueprints to customize parts for each job.

  • Use grinding and cutting tools for part fabrication.

  • Ensure tolerances are held to +- 1/16.

  • Perform out-of-position welding as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in TIG welding.

  • Experience with fabrication processes.

  • Skill in grinding and cutting materials.

  • Ability to read and work from blueprints.

  • Comfortable with 6G welding.

  • Ability to handle materials up to 1/4 inch thick.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00
