What You\'ll Do: * Mentor, train, and support plant electricians, line mechanics, and plant leadership by educating on how to rapidly debug and diagnose problems with can-making equipment to avoid negative impacts on product quality and throughput * Develop and debug new products, production equipment, and manufacturing lines * Assist plants and OEM suppliers/vendors in the identification and debugging of mechanical production problems to improve line efficiencies, increase product quality, increase production capacity, and eliminate repetitive work-related injuries * Interface with Plant Management, Project Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering groups to accomplish tasks. * Travel on a regular basis to and from various production facilities and or equipment vendors as required to What you need to have: * A bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering; will consider the experience in place of a degree * 5+ years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment * 2+ years of PLC based controls experience programming Allen-Bradley / Siemens PLC\'s, HMI\'s, Servo & Inverter drives * Experience troubleshooting and debugging electrical controls, servos, inverter drives, and PLC platforms, including but not limited to Allen Bradley * Proficient in MS Suite, AutoCAD skills * Electrical software experience with RS Logix, Studio 5000, or FTV Studio desired. * Ability to travel up to 50% of the year, overnight stays often required Who We Are: * Global fortune 500 packaging company with 109 manufacturing facilities in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. * A supplier of sustainable metal and rigid packaging solutions for consumer goods products for food, beverage, health care, garden, home, personal care, and beauty products. * We pride ourselves on being a solution-based partner to our customers and work hard to earn their business every day.
