JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Ocnwc - Oconomowoc, WI Position Type Full Time Job Shift 1st Shift Description JOB SUMMARY: Provides professional analyst work in the areas of cost accounting and variance investigation in a manufacturing environment to drive continuous improvement and ensure data integrity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Partners with management to develop, analyze and track key financial and operational performance indicators on an ongoing basis including, inventory, rework, direct and indirect hours, manufacturing expenses, payroll, and scrap expense. Collaborates actively and communicates daily with stakeholders across various functional areas, particularly the manufacturing floor to facilitate cost reductions (performs variance analysis) and continuous improvement. Assists with monthly closing activities related to inventory and COGS, ensuring that all expenses are recorded according to GAAP. Delivers timely and accurate work product. Accurately classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data and accounts to compile spreadsheets and records using journals, ledgers and/or accounting software (ERP system). Assists with annual budget and forecast process. Calculates and updates standard burden rates based on approved budget. Develops and monitors costing methodology and implements/reviews proper controls for departmental transactions to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Assists in developing cost projections of products to assist management in customer quoting process. Provides ongoing analysis specific to margin attainment and variances. Supports operations, engineering, and supply chain in identifying sources of variance and aiding in making necessary adjustments to better reflect actual costs and/or reach cost goals. Assists with internal and external audits as needed. Demonstrates knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, including resource allocation, production methods, and the coordination of people and resources. Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed, including special projects, general office and other administrative functions. Proceeds with minimal supervision. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity to Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern Accounting operations. Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning. Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures. Accurately completes all required documentation.
