Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator to manage the operation of a concrete block machine. This role involves starting and stopping the machine, ensuring blocks are aligned correctly, and conducting daily cleaning and maintenance. You will also change out programs, maintain equipment, and perform minor repairs. Your responsibilities will include monitoring several pieces of equipment to detect and report any malfunctions and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Additionally, you will be responsible for product quality inspection, changing molds, and documenting production details. This position requires a commitment to safety and precision in a demanding work environment.

This is a fully on-site position in Odenton, Maryland.

Work Environment

This position is based in a plant environment that is dusty and dirty, with exposure to noise requiring the use of protective gear such as hard hats, ear plugs, and masks. The facility, although only six years old, operates under conditions that are hot in summer and cold in winter. Candidates must be comfortable working overtime and in physically demanding settings.
