Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Odessa, Texas

Description We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Odessa, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with open enrollment, maintaining accurate records, and performing data entry tasks. Responsibilities:

• Facilitate open enrollment and assist with related questions and communication.

• Perform data entry tasks with precision and efficiency.

• Contribute to special projects assigned by the HR team.

• Leverage your skills in Workday and MS Excel to streamline HR operations.

• Provide support in other HR functions such as benefits administration.

• Maintain and update employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Respond to HR-related inquiries and provide necessary information.

• Assist in the coordination and execution of various HR projects.

• Foster a positive work environment by supporting team members and promoting collaboration.

• Continuously work towards improving HR processes and procedures. Requirements • Possess a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role or relevant field

• Proficient in Benefit Functions, Open Enrollment, Data Entry, and Workday

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• A keen eye for detail and accuracy, particularly in relation to data entry tasks

• Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure

• Familiarity with HR regulations and best practices

• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred

• Certification in Human Resources such as PHR, SHRM-CP is a plus.
