B.H. Inc. Crane/Heavy Haul Construction Manager in Ogden, Utah

B.H. Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Crane/Heavy Haul Construction Manager to manage crane and heavy haul transportation. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree construction management or a related field

  • Experience: 7-10 years of progressive experience in crane and heavy haul transportation management including supervisory roles.

  • Technical Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of crane and heavy haul equipment, including hydraulic systems, load capacity calculations, and safety features.

  • Proficiency in transportation regulations, such as DOT, OSHA, MSHA and industry-specific standards.

  • Knowledge of route planning, permitting, and escort procedures.

  • Familiarity with various types of cranes (e.g., mobile, tower, crawler) and their applications.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the efficiency and profitability of crane and heavy haul operations.

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and route planning for crane and heavy haul equipment.

  • Equipment Management: Manage the procurement, maintenance, and repair of all crane and heavy haul equipment.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and standards, including DOT, OSHA, and industry-specific guidelines.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with crane and heavy haul operations.

  • Personnel Management: Recruit, train, and supervise crane operators, heavy haul drivers, and other staff.

  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

  • Financial Management: Monitor and control operational expenses to ensure profitability.
