We have an immediate opening for a Family Day Care & School Age Child Care Registration Registrar. In this position you will work with prospective and existing Family Day Care providers and School Age Child Care programs providing technical assistance throughout the NYS Office of Children & Family Services registration and/or renewal process. This individual will be responsible for developing and supporting child care providers/programs to increase the quality and availability of child care in St. Lawrence County. Activities will include, but are not limited to, conducting on-site inspections, monitoring inspections, complaint inspections, maintaining records, tracking program staff development and assisting with contract.

Skills:

Education and/or experience working in a NYS regulated child care setting (preferred) Knowledge of NYS Child Day Care Regulations (preferred) Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Ability to work well in a team environment Valid NYS Drivers license and reliable transportation
