Tekdelite LLC has an opening for the position of HIL Validation Engineer (Ref# HIL12NJ).

Work Location:  Okemos, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.  

Job Duties:  Responsible for the development and implementation of the dSPACE HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) framework for ECU (electronic control unit) testing for automotive embedded systems.  Implement a complete test automation framework in dSPACE HIL using ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk, ModelDesk, and MotionDesk.  Analyze and understand the ECU diagnostics, electrical schematics for vehicle components and systems, and electrical architectures of distributed systems.  Test EOL (end-of-line) requirements in dSPACE with available HIL test bench hardware and software for different architectures.  Verify the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).  Test assigned vehicle features across the HIL test environment.  Validate all DTCs of an ECU by running manual and automation test cases and testing robustness of DTCs by performing sanity, stability, regression, and black box testing on HIL bench.  Manage and create test plans for electrical features across the vehicle.  Coordinate with onsite/offshore team members and plan and execute future test scenarios and test cases.  Maintain the HIL system with zero downtime.  Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.  Coordinate with customers based on necessity including weekly progress meetings.  Work with Agile teams through the project lifecycles, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.  Acquire and analyze data logs for root cause identification.  Report test results to management and other teams and communicate defects effectively using JIRA.

Requirements:  This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.  Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Test Engineer, Test Analyst, Test Lead, or related experience.  Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience.  Position requires 1 year of experience with ECU tests, dSPACE HIL, and JIRA.  Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein.  40hrs/week.
