Who We Are:

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking an Acquisition Program Manager to support our customer at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

HII-Mission Technologies provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

What You Will Do:

The Acquisition Program Manager (APM) for a DoD aircraft modification program is responsible for overseeing the entire acquisition process, from the initial planning stages to the final delivery of the modified aircraft. This includes:

  • Developing and managing the program schedule, budget, and resources.

  • Coordinating with stakeholders, including the customer, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure that all requirements are met.

  • Managing the acquisition process, including the development of acquisition strategies, solicitation of proposals, and evaluation of contractor proposals.

  • Ensuring that all program activities are conducted in accordance with government regulations and policies.

  • Monitoring and reporting on program progress, including cost, schedule, and performance.

  • Identifying and managing risks and issues that may impact the program.

  • Managing the program team, including contractors and government personnel.

  • Ensuring that all program documentation is complete and accurate.

What We're Looking For:

  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.

  • Experience managing development, integration, testing, and program risks for DoD aircraft modification programs.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Requirements

  • Aircraft/airborne Precision, Navigation & Timing (PNT), Global Positioning System (GPS), and/or Communications/Navigation (Comm/Nav) systems knowledge/experience is highly desired.
