The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.

Job Description

TheOmni Oklahoma City Hotelis seeking a guest-focused part timeBartenderto join the opening team of this upscale hotel. This team member will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top quality bar for the OKC Tap House.

Responsibilities

• Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.

• Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used.

• Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.

• Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow sidework sheet.

• Monitor inventory.

• Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails

• Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.

• Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Two years bartending experience strongly preferred.

• Extensive wine knowledge strongly preferred.

• One-year restaurant experience required.

• Pleasant personality required.

• Excellent communication skills in a loud environment required.

• ABLE State Alcohol certification and Food Handler certificationrequiredprior to first day worked.

• Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.
