SAIC Cloud SDE Information System Security Manager - ISSM in OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma

Description

SAIC is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to be the appointed Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to secure cloud and on-premise based, software-development environments supporting Air Force weapon systems critical to National Defense. This is an onsite position (no remote work) performed at our Customer site in Oklahoma City, OK.

The primary effort is obtaining and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) for these environments.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Our ISSM provides technical guidance to information system security engineers (ISSEs), information system security officers (ISSOs), and program managers responsible for managing and securing the software development environments.

  • This position is also involved with managing security information and event management (SIEM) solutions and a Security Operations Center (SOC).

  • This position also provides the expertise and knowledge required to implement the System Security Plan, create the Security Assessment Report, and review vulnerability scans required to obtain and maintain an ATO from the Authorizing Official (AO).

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen and possess an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI and Special Access eligibility.

  • DoD 8570.1-M IAM-III certification (CISM, CISSP, or GSLC).

  • Bachelor's and (fourteen) 14, Master's and (twelve) 12 or relevant years of Information Assurance experience in lieu of degree.

  • A strong working knowledge of RMF.

  • Implementing and managing security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.

  • Experience operating/leading a Security Operations Center (SOC).

  • Knowledge of cloud and virtual machine hosted architectures.

  • Experience in applying security principles to all states of system development from requirements development through operational acceptance.

  • Experience in conducting information systems security assessments, evaluating IA and cyber security controls, and conducting and supporting RMF activities.

  • Experience with Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI), either being inspected or conducting an inspection.

  • Experience with operational Air Force or Space Force systems.

  • Proficient with ACAS.
