Robert Half Collections Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented Collections Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in managing assigned portfolios, which may involve billing, collections, and adjustments. Your role will encompass the resolution of account issues while maintaining a strong relationship with the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned portfolios which may include billing, collections, or adjustments.

• Maintain a systematic approach for account reviews and calls.

• Interact with both internal and external customers to resolve outstanding issues professionally.

• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all collection activity.

• Ensure accounts are called as scheduled and quotas are maintained.

• Timely review of delinquent accounts for debt recovery agency submission.

• Receive and research written correspondence regarding billing, collection, adjustment, or disputes.

• Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with contacts.

• Respond to inquiries within 24 hours to maintain customer service.

• Work closely with the sales and operations teams in addressing sensitive account issues.

Skills:

• Collections

• Customer Service Requirements • Proficiency in Collections, including knowledge of collection techniques and laws related to debt collection.

• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of collection attempts and progress.

• Experience with various software applications typically used in a collections environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and team members.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

• High level of integrity and ethics, ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills to effectively resolve customer issues, complaints, or disputes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
