Description

We are seeking a Temporary-to-Hire Insurance Claims Customer Care Representative to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to clients navigating insurance claims processes. As a pivotal point of contact, you will address inquiries, guide customers through claim procedures, and ensure timely resolution of issues. This position offers the opportunity for permanent placement based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.

  • Assist clients in filing insurance claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected.

  • Provide empathetic support to customers experiencing challenging situations, such as accidents or property damage.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including claims adjusters and underwriters, to facilitate seamless claim processing.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using CRM software.

  • Educate customers on insurance policies, coverage details, and claim settlement procedures.

  • Identify and escalate complex or high-priority issues to the appropriate departments for further investigation and resolution.

  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with claim outcomes and address any additional concerns.

  • Stay informed about industry regulations, policy updates, and procedural changes to provide up-to-date assistance to customers.

  • Contribute to a positive team environment by actively participating in training sessions, team meetings, and process improvement initiatives.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on empathy and professionalism.

  • Ability to navigate challenging customer interactions with patience, tact, and diplomacy.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for managing customer interactions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a customer-centric focus.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in insurance or customer service is a plus.
