Robert Half Office Manager in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Description We are seeking an Office Manager for our event equipment rentals in OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity where you will be managing a range of administrative tasks from Monday to Friday, between 8 am to 5 pm. You will be expected to perform tasks related to bookkeeping and demonstrate your proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth running of our event equipment rental business.

• Manage and maintain records, including bookkeeping activities.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets, manage data, and perform calculations.

• Coordinate with clients and handle their inquiries and complaints to ensure exceptional customer service.

• Implement office policies and procedures, and ensure staff adherence to these.

• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

• Assist in planning and arranging events, including organizing catering.

• Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.

• Coordinate with the IT department on all office equipment to ensure functionality.

• Supporting the team by performing tasks related to organization and communication. Requirements • Proven experience in an Office Manager role or similar administrative role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requirement.

• Must have basic bookkeeping skills.

• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong time management skills.

• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated.

• Proven experience in managing office equipment and procedures.

• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage staff effectively.
