ASM Global Payroll Coordinator in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Position Summary

The Payroll Coordinator will coordinate and prepare payroll for the venue in compliance with state and federal wage and hour regulations and ASM Global policies. This role also provides support to the finance department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurate and complete processing of payroll.

  • Maintain all employee leave accruals and balances.

  • Process leave and absentee requests and calculate vacation, sick, holiday and personal leave pay.

  • Work with Finance to produce manual payroll checks as necessary.

  • Input all manual check disbursements into ADP Enterprise.

  • Review and process wage garnishments as applicable.

  • Ensure payroll processing deadlines are met.

  • Monitor ABI for errors and missing timesheet data for payroll.

  • Ensure all reconciliation and necessary verifications are completed prior to payroll transmission.

  • Produce payroll reports for each cycle and for auditing purposes.

  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping of all payroll data.

  • Responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and maintaining accurate W-2 records.

  • Follow all federal and state wage and hour regulations as well as ASM Global policies.

  • Ability to effectively take direction and maintain professional work ethic.

  • Communicate violations of payroll policies to the Human Resources Manager & Director of Finance.

  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries.

  • Ensure events from VenueOps are loaded into ABI for managers to schedule employees.

  • Assist Finance department with various finance and accounting projects.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Computer Skills

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including a computer and a copier/scanner.

  • Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must have strong Excel experience.

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • Experience with payroll software such as ADP and ABI preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience processing payroll.

  • Experience with payroll software such as ADP and ABI preferred.

Certificates, Licenses & Registration

  • None.

Physical Demands

  • Manual dexterity - Regularly required to use hands and fingers.

  • Visual acuity to operate a computer to review and process detailed payroll and accounting data.

  • Reach with hands and arms.

  • May spend long hours sitting.

  • May need to lift up to 30 lbs.

During year-end and audit seasons, overtime may be required.
