The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer to support Boeing Global Services in Oklahoma City, OK.

As a Senior Product Support Engineer for this organization, you will lead the E-4B System Failure Analysis Data Analytics efforts providing sustainment support to the Air Force to help maintain and sustain their fleet of Boeing aircraft. The successful candidate will evaluate component, systems and aircraft performance to identify issues and potential improvements; resolve a wide range of technical and operational issues; work closely with the Air Force customer to ensure the continued safe operation of the fleet; collaborate with program and Government System Program Office (SPO) engineering disciplines to influence improvements in product designs and operational criteria; review manufacturing non-conformity data for potential impacts to in-service fleet; and provide technical support for maintenance, repair and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for the customer.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Oklahoma City, OK location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze systems and components, identify issues/corrective actions and provide recommendations

  • Provide solutions intended to improve system performance and increase operational availability

  • Manage team efforts in support of projects, research efforts, and special assignments as required

  • Lead employees to resolve a wide range of technical and operational issues associated with in-service aircraft, depot maintenance, and vendor repairs

  • Lead in a multi-disciplined team to ensure customer contractual requirements are met

  • Knowledge of aircraft status reporting IAW AFI 21-103 (e.g. NMCM, NMCB)

  • Knowledge of Air Force maintenance practices and responsibilities (AFI 21-101)

  • Visual Basic Analysis (VBA) programming

  • Proficient with Excel spreadsheets

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint presentations

  • Proficient in R Shiny

  • Statistical analysis methods and techniques

  • Knowledge of aircraft configuration management (e.g. TCTOs, special inspections, time change items)

  • Analyze maintenance information, requirements, and develop visual presentations

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics

  • 5+ years of experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development of support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product life cycle

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working with customers on aircraft maintenance

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with customers and multi-functional teams

  • Experience leading technical teams resolving complex issues and challenging projects

Typical Education/ Experience:

Bachelor's and 9 or more years' related work experience, Master's degree with 7 or more years' related work experience or PhD degree with 4 or more years’ related work experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

Summary pay range: 100,300 – 135,700
