BASIC PURPOSE : The Learning Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery of Talent and Org Effectiveness programs that align with the Talent and Org Effectiveness strategy. Executing training events through measurement and analytics, resource and logistics management, process improvement and vendor management. In this role you will support the learning and development programs by scheduling, catering oversight, room set up and break down, oversight of session materials, delivery of content and other projects as assigned.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate and coordinate the execution of Talent and Org Effectiveness programs such as New Employee Orientation and soft skill training, leadership development programs and various other initiatives.

  • Coordinate and organize ad-hoc training/meeting events; Track and respond to training requests in a timely manner.

  • Effectively communicate and establish relationships with various members and leadership to ensure Talent and Org Effectiveness program success.

  • Prepare for events with internal and external audiences, including vendors to ensure the logistics and admin requirements of all virtual and in person programs are met.

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure flawless execution and identify process improvement opportunities.

  • Analyze, monitor, and report on training enrollment, engagement, student surveys and feedback provided by others.

  • Process department invoices and expenses to ensure timely and accurate management of our department budget.

  • Manage, track and purchase inventory of training materials/supplies when necessary.

  • Attend forums and feedback meetings to understand business initiatives and priorities; Provides summary notes to Talent and Org Effectiveness Leaders.

  • Provides budget, contracting and administrative support to all Talent and Org Effectiveness functional areas.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or HR related field a plus

  • Experience:

  • Training design and delivery/facilitation experience preferred.

  • 1-2 years of event coordination experience preferred.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:

  • Hard Skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Soft Skills: willingness and ability to learn from other departments, good verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills, strong organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, ability to take constructive criticism and strong work ethic.

  • Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
