Robert Half Financial Analyst in Olive Branch, Mississippi

Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Financial Analyst for our team situated in Olive Branch, Mississippi, United States. Working in the Manufacturing industry, the successful candidate will be contributing to report production, month end closing processes, variance analysis, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Generate daily sales reports and cash forecasts

• Contribute to the month end closing and annual audit procedures

• Manage month end balance sheet account reconciliations

• Take charge of monthly sales tax filings

• Conduct variance analysis as and when required

• Evaluate and enhance existing processes

• Undertake other duties assigned to ensure smooth functioning of the team

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Data Mining Techniques in the daily workflow

• Adhere to Budget Processes and Capital Management guidelines

• Conduct Financial Analysis and Variance Analysis as part of the job role

• Manage Sales Tax, Month-end Reports, and Cash Forecasting responsibilities.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrated experience in Data Mining Techniques

• Familiarity with Budget Processes in the semiconductor or electric component manufacturing industry

• Comprehensive understanding of Capital Management

• Proven skills in Financial Analysis

• Expertise in Variance Analysis

• Knowledgeable in Sales Tax regulations

• Experience in creating Month-end Reports

• Ability to conduct Cash Forecasting

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
