Oracle Finance IT Compliance Senior Director in Olympia, Washington

Job Description

The Finance IT Compliance Senior Director will coordinate closely with operations teams which may include Global Business Units, Corporate Security, and with Oracle Legal. Responsibilities include designing comprehensive information security, and/or quality management, and regulatory oversight programs, including standards for Finance automation and application design aligned with Oracle Software Security Assurance and Security Architecture Review, and/or quality management system standards. Will be responsible for managing information security risks, managing compliance team and evaluating and consolidating existing regulatory compliance functions. Will educate through training members on information security and industry regulatory standards applicable to their products and services. Work with respective teams which may include OAL, Corporate Finance, Controllers, operations, and service, to incorporate applicable industry regulatory standards, and Oracle security. Work with Legal to evaluate changes in applicable laws and regulations and impact on products and services. Work with Corporate Development and Legal to evaluate potential acquisitions for regulatory issues. Coordinate industry and regulatory attestations such as Sarbanes-Oxley and India Companies Act..

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage key relationships with OAL leadership and development teams. Finance audit leaders, external auditors and SaaS Compliance Leadership

  • Proactively work with Finance and OAL to assess and document audit documentation on key systems and applications developed by OAL for Finance

  • Operate as a senior advisor on all OAL IT compliance discussions and escalations

  • Manage executive level reporting and visibility on OAL audit risks, priorities and needs

  • Manage a global team (multiple time zones) of IT auditors and engineers that can support this role

  • Work closely with leaders in SaaS Compliance and OCI Compliance to leverage best practices and help scale OAL Compliance program

Minimum Skills and Experience

  • BSc in MIS or Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience

  • 10+ years of program managing and influencing large globally diverse technical teams

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to influence with data

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a history of presenting to senior leadership

  • Experience in Statutory Audits in the areas of IT General Controls and Application Controls

  • Experience in building control descriptions, test plans, walkthrough documentation, and evidence with technical software development teams

  • Experience in concepts for building automation and scale in technical audit area

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Big 4 Accounting Firm or External Audit Experience

  • Audit Committee Communication Experience

  • Data-driven program manager with direct relevant experience in optimizing the delivery of technical transformations at scale

  • Deep understanding of sustaining engineering, operations, security and compliance with an eye toward leveraging and building tooling and automation

  • Experience in program managing inside of a tech organization with an innovation culture

  • Experience managing relationships with external vendors & contractors

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
