Actalent Architecture Drafter in Omaha, Nebraska

Job Title: Architecture Drafter

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Design Engineer and Project Manager to ensure fabrication details are cost-effective and meet design requirements.

  • Execute shop drawings for submittal and fabrication.

  • Assist in resolving any issues with fabrication details that may arise during production.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

  • Attend staff meetings as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

  • Strong knowledge of architectural design and construction drawings

  • Fluency in 2-dimensional Computer-Aided Drafting with at least 2 years of experience

  • Advanced fabrication knowledge

  • 2-year Associate Degree in Drafting and Design

  • Experience with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and Revit

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in 3D design

  • Strong architectural design skills

Work Environment

  • The work environment is dynamic and creative, promoting a fun and light atmosphere to balance the high-pressure nature of tight deadlines.

  • The company operates Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional evening or weekend hours if required for big projects.

  • Workspace includes a well-organized shop with individual workstations, a cool and open drafting lab with a team of five, and a high-tech 3D lab equipped with the latest 3D printers and automation equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
