Robert Half Business Development Officer in Omaha, Nebraska

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Development Officer in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is within the staffing industry and involves identifying and engaging potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding clients' needs, and collaborating with internal teams to provide tailored solutions. This role also requires active management of a pipeline of opportunities and staying informed about industry trends and market conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Engage potential clients through various channels such as networking events and cold calling.

• Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target companies.

• Understand and address the staffing needs of clients by providing tailored solutions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements that align with client needs and company objectives.

• Actively manage and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, tracking progress and updating relevant stakeholders.

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

• Utilize skills in Client Management, Full Cycle Recruiting, and Business Development to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company. Requirements • Proven experience in a Business Development role or similar

• Proficient in client management and able to build and maintain strong relationships

• Demonstrated ability in Full Cycle Recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to identify new business opportunities and potential clients

• Proficient in using business software such as Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• High level of self-motivation, commitment and dedication

• Ability to work in a team and independently when required

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

• Knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies.
