Aston Carter Construction Accountant in Omaha, Nebraska

Senior Accountant

Description:

  • Assist in preparation of monthly closing and consolidation of all company entities

  • Assist Business Analyst with Cost Sales Analysis

  • Prepare and distribute monthly departmental financial reports

  • Manage and process all contribution accounting and non-donation deposits, including credit card and ACH activity, in coordination with the Development department. Involves custom coding for management reporting purposes.

  • Maintain all Gift in Kind (GIK) accounting

  • Maintain and update all Journal Entries

  • Maintain documentation and record loans associated with mortgages

  • Manage all bank account and donations reconciliations

  • Maintain and reconcile account activity associated with employee benefits

  • Prepare/manage accounting for corporate credit cards

  • Participate in preparation for and execution of annual audit by external accounting firm

  • Participate in maintenance of accounting and finance controls through SOP’s and Internal Control manual

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE Bachelors of SCIENCE in ACCOUNTING

  • 5 - 10 years' accounting experience required

  • Intermediate in Excel (will need to be proficient in pivot tables, v lookups, formulas)
