Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Journeyman Electricians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing new electrical systems in various residential settings, including custom and executive homes. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of electrical experience in a residential environment.
Responsibilities
Install new electrical systems in new homes, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, and appliance hookups.
Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to plan wiring layouts.
Perform finish work in multi-family and new construction homes.
Ensure all work meets attendance expectations and is completed with efficiency and speed.
Collaborate effectively with a team to accomplish daily responsibilities.
Conduct everyday interactions with owners and other team members.
Perform conduit bending, wiring, troubleshooting, and installation tasks.
Pull wire, rough in, and trim out electrical systems.
Read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch and perform basic math efficiently.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience in a residential environment.
Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
Proficiency in basic math (subtract, add, divide).
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with conduit bending, wiring, and troubleshooting.
Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and climb ladders for 8 hours a day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with appliance installation.
Valid driver's license preferred, but not required if there is a reliable plan for transportation.
Prior electrical experience within commercial or residential crews.
Experience with roughing in electrical work (bend pipe, help feed and pull wire through, screw electrical boxes into studs).
Experience with finishing work (installing light receptacles, hanging lights, replacing lights).

Work Environment
Our work environment emphasizes a balance between work and personal life, with a standard schedule from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and optional overtime on Saturdays. We provide any necessary PPE, including high visibility vests, hard hats, glasses, and gloves. The dress code includes jeans with no holes, professional t-shirts, and work boots (no tennis shoes, cut-off shirts, or shorts). Candidates must have basic hand tools and a pouch, including a standard hammer, 25' tape measure, Phillips #2 screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, and wire strippers.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
