Amergis Pharmacy Technician $20/hr in Omaha, Nebraska

The Retail Pharmacy Technician works under the supervisionof a licensed pharmacist. The RetailPharmacy Technician is responsible for maintaining a professional attitude thatensures efficient, accurate, and timely distribution of medications processedthrough the retail pharmacy. The RetailPharmacy Technician will maintain the drug inventory, process patientprescriptions, process insurance claims, and maintain patient records. Responsibilities also includes assistingpharmacy customers both in person and via in bound phone calls.

Previous healthcare experience required

Resume must be updated. Their first review will be resume and be quick to reject if not updated with required experience

Current Pharmacy Tech Certification required

The Pharmacy Technician completes a variety of department tasks and services and is responsible for the daily operations of the Pharmacy under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or the pharmacist on duty during the shift.

40/hrs week

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or its equivalent certification

  • Graduate of accredited Pharmacy Technology Program

  • PTCB or NPTA license preferred or as required bystate/contract

  • Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray ifapplicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
