Greentech Renewables provides a full range of solar equipment to thousands of contractors throughout the United States, the Caribbean, and Latin America, enabling solar installers to easily and cost-effectively design, sell, and install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
The Plan-set Drafter based in Puerto Rico is responsible for completing PV system permit plan sets that are code compliant and meet company and customer standards. In addition the individual will be required to provide valuable feedback to help drive further improvement to the drafting tools.
Reports to: CAE Team Lead
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ years of AutoCAD experience
1+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills – both spoken and written – in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Construction or trade experience
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:
Comfortable working with repetitive and high volume tasks
Ability to follow detailed instructions while considering multiple variables
Displays a high level of organizational and time management
Ability to independently work with self-direction and decision making
High level of communication skills to ensure smooth project flow between multiple stakeholders (parties)
Working Conditions:
Based in Puerto Rico
hybrid role work environment, work on a small team with multiple weekly check-ins
Work standard business hours of 8am to 5pm
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Essential Job Functions:
Draft ten (10) to fifteen (15) Photovoltaic permit plan sets per day using AutoCAD and Excel
Provide feedback to manager on AutoCAD template and Excel tools to improve functionality
Communicate proactively and effectively with Manager and Design Leads to ensure accurate plan set creation
Manage & maintain progress in multiple projects simultaneously in the absence of direct supervision
Contribute ideas for process & systems improvement independently Caribbean, and Latin America, enabling solar installers to easily and cost-effectively design, sell, and install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $30000 to $40000 annually.
