Gundersen Health System is looking for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy in Onalaska. What You\'ll Do: Deliver LOVE + MEDICINE pharmaceutical care at our Onalaska location. Oversee and supervise all manufacturing and compounding activities. What You\'ll Need: Bachelor\'s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy. Immunization certification (e.g., APhA, PSW). Pharmacist license to practice in Wisconsin. Job Description: The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care for our patients. Works with and supervises all manufacturing and compounding in the pharmacy. Major Responsibilities: 1. Prepares and/or maintains written control over medication dispensing and manufacturing. Understands and uses pharmacy reference material for drug information. Maintains adequate inventory of pharmaceuticals and other supplies. 2. Interprets, clarifies, and evaluates appropriateness of medication orders for physicians and others credentialed or privileged to prescribe medication. 3. Is competent in providing care to all age categories of patients served, modifying drug therapy as appropriate for the neonatal, pediatric, adult, and elderly populations. 4.
