Established Family Practice in Beautiful Mille Lacs Lakes Area in a Rural Setting of Minnesota seeking Physician Assistant for Permanent Medical Staff Position

Practice with an exceptional and established patient care team in the outpatient clinic setting. Build your own panel, work with the excellent medical staff team to care for rural and underserved populations in beautiful central Minnesota Lake Country.

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to support the outpatient services to actively facilitate patients' recovery. You will apply medical techniques and principles for a diverse set of patients offering them care and encouragement.

Mille Lacs Health System is and independent community organization with lab, radiology to include CT, Ultrasound, mammography and mobile MRI and nuclear medicine studies, rehab therapies, chiropractic services, retail pharmacies, ambulance services and critical access hospital.

Additional services include, senior behavioral health inpatient unit, urgent care and emergency department, surgery, home care and hospice, long term care, and sleep study center on the main campus in Onamia. Clinics also located in Milaca, Hillman, Garrison and Isle.

Physician Assistant (PA)

Required Education and Experience

• Successful completion of a Physician Assistant Training Program recognized by the Board of Medical Examiners, (i.e. National Commission for the Certification of PAs (NCCPA)).

• Successful completion of an examination approved by the Board of Medical Examiners.

• Current license as a Physician assistant in the state of Minnesota.

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
