SUMMARY:Provide direct oversight of facility maintenance and facility maintenance technicians to ensure that required maintenance needs and projects are performed and completed in a safe, efficient and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for direct oversight of facility, grounds, machinery and equipment maintenance in accordance with blueprints, manuals and relevant codes/guidelines;

• Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.

• Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.

• Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.

• Maintains preventative maintenance program to maintain compliance; direct staff to ensure satisfactory completion of work and adherence to plan and work schedule.

• Responsible for management of work order system to maximize efficiency; provide training and instruction on all aspects of work order system as necessary.

• Collaborates with all departments to develop facilities and maintenance priorities.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma with at least 8 years experience; Associate’s degree with 5 years experience; Bachelor’s preferred. Experience in commercial and residential structure repair, machinery repair, and electrical and plumbing preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience.
