Springbrook Maintenance Supervisor - Community Homes in Oneonta, New York

Pay Range: $24-$26

Position Summary:

Ensure all Springbrook Facilities within your assignment are safe, clean, and well maintained through organization and team oversight. Physical plant services include janitorial, preventive and corrective maintenance, and generalized repair.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track direct staff performance utilizing agency workforce software.

  • Assume maintenance leadership role through workload participation, organization, and oversight.

  • Assist with budget development with physical plant assessments and recommendations.

  • Develop and manage staff agenda based on priority needs and agency work order request systems.

  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment for staff and individuals we support.

  • Maintain and enforce agency policies and procedures.

  • Maintain all service inventory by requisitioning, assigning, and tracking all service related materials.

  • Approve and assume accountability for direct staff expenditures.

  • Ensure all assigned physical plant facilities within you assignment meet all safety and health standards as required.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required. Associates Degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5 + years’ experience in maintenance or related field, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the facilities and physical plant requirements of a diverse organization.

  • Proficiency in or knowledge of a variety of common computer software, as in Microsoft Word, Office, and Excel.

  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.

  • Strong judgement and reasoning abilities.

  • Exceptional organizational skills.

  • Ability to lift 70#.

  • Meet the requirements to drive a Springbrook vehicle as needed.
