Description We are looking for a diligent Accounting Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Ontario, California. This role will focus on managing and maintaining our credit and financial records, including processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and taking proactive measures to collect delinquent payments. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply and develop skills such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate customer credit records

• Handling customer credit inquiries with professionalism and efficiency

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and identifying any irregularities

• Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of records

• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Ensuring accurate and timely data entry of financial information

• Processing invoices and managing billing operations

• Utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements

• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry is beneficial

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Experience with billing and invoice processing is needed

• Proficiency in data entry is required

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Experience with Oracle is beneficial

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks is necessary

• Prior experience as an Accounting Clerk is not required but would be advantageous

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the accounting field
