Citizens State Bank Of Ontonagon Branch Manager in Ontonagon, Michigan

Citizens State Bank of Ontonagon is seeking applicants for a Branch Manager.

The Branch Manager ("Manager") is a team member who reports directly to the EVP/Market President. The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day branch operations, including branch security and facilities. The Manager performs various complex duties to serve customers/prospects by providing excellent customer service with the highest degree of accuracy and professionalism, while fully exploring customer needs and providing appropriate products and services. The Manager provides the team leadership, direction, and guidance as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Possess a thorough and comprehensive understanding of all retail products and services and sufficient understanding of all Bank services to make effective referrals to other business lines.
  • Cross-sell all Bank products and services through outbound telesales and in Branch sales efforts to achieve Bank and individual goals.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of related policies, procedures, rules and regulations including robbery procedures. Must be familiar with aspects of BSA reporting. Ensures ongoing compliance with audit procedures and other applicable guidelines.
  • Open/Close the Branch and adhere to all Bank security procedures during this process.
  • Coach less experienced staff regularly to improve their sales and operational skills for the betterment of the individual, team, and Bank.
  • Responsible for completing various daily, weekly and monthly reports assigned, including operational, risk, and sales.
  • Manage and follow up with customer grievances and research items in accordance with Bank policy.
  • Identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions with the EVP/Market President, which meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Communicate new ideas and marketing strategies, with the EVP/Market President, within the branch market area to improve sales, marketing and staff development.
  • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
  • Perform additional duties, as needed.
