Responsibilities:

As a EXPEREINCED GENERAL SALES MANAGER you know what this position entails to be successful, however in this role we are looking for a General Sales Manager that is also strong in used car knowledge.

  • Forecast and drive sales goals and objectives for the sales team.

  • Focus on high performance used car results.

  • Manage and monitor daily activity of sales managers and sales staff to ensure sales volume and productivity goals are met.

  • Develop effective sales staff by communicating expected performance standards, monitoring performance, identifying development needs, coaching, motivating and mentoring.

  • Conduct and lead regular sales staff meetings.

  • Work directly with the General Manager to create marketing plans and sales promotions.

  • Manage web portal and online presence.

  • On-going customer engagement and communication. Respond to customers concerns to ensure full resolution.

    Qualifications:

  • 2-3 YEARS AS GENERAL SALES MANAGER REQUIRED

  • STRONG EXPERIENCE WITH VAUTO REQUIRED

  • LEADER THAT IS FOCUSED ON MOTIVATION, BUILDING CULTURE, AND GROWING A TEAM REQUIRED

  • ABILITY TO ACQUIRE VEHICLES THRU PRIVATE PARTY SITES SUCH AS KBB ICO REQUIRED

  • KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO FIND CARS AND HOW TO SELL THEM REQUIRED

  • CDK & PROVISION EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

The California pay range for this position is $200,000.00-350,000.00 annually
