Account Manager – New Homes & Multi-Family Development Solar Sales

Location: Southern CA, Austin, TX, or Orem, UT (Must be based in one of these locations)

Job Type: Full-time

Reports To: VP of New Home Sales

Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 per year + quarterly bonuses and RSUs (Stock Options)

Job Summary:

Complete Solar is seeking a motivated and experienced New Homes Account Manager to join our growing team. This contract role will involve managing key accounts, building relationships with new home partners, and overseeing the successful implementation of solar projects in the residential sector. The Account Manager will play a crucial role in expanding Complete Solar's presence within the new homes market, focusing on solar energy solutions for production home builders, developers, and real estate professionals.

This position will require close interaction with homebuilders, developers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven sales and account management experience within the residential solar industry, including working with production home builders and new homes sales.

  • Strong understanding of solar systems, technologies, and the sales process.

  • Experience with multi-family builders for solar installations in apartments, townhomes, and condos.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to communicate technical solar concepts to non-technical clients.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and CRM proficiency to manage sales pipelines.

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on driving growth and earning quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years in solar sales or account management, with a focus on residential and multi-family projects.

  • Experience working with production home builders (e.g., D.R. Horton, KB Homes) and selling solar energy systems for new homes.

  • Proven track record of managing solar accounts and meeting sales goals.

  • Excellent time management, professionalism, and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal teams.

  • Mature, resilient, and goal-oriented, with the ability to navigate challenges and stay focused on results.

  • Ability to travel for client meetings and site visits if not based in Southern California, Austin, or Orem.

  • Experience in selling or managing solar projects, especially in the residential or multi-family sectors, is a must.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of clients effectively.
