Caring Transitions Team member- for relocation service and estate sales in Orange County, California

We're particularly looking for a personable candidate who has a deep passion for helping others, especially the Seniors and would like to make a difference in the community!

Job Description: The Team Member position is responsible for providing world-class customer service to clients while working closely with Managers and other Team Members to maintain operational standards and procedures. This position operates directly under the direction of the Job Captain-On-Duty. The position has direct interactions with clients and members of the public at large.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts

  • Communicates positively with clients, peers, and Managers

  • All boxes properly labeled

  • Master Inventory list is created

  • Any broken items are documented/pictures taken before packing and noted on the master inventory list

  • Special instructions are communicated to movers

  • LIFO needs are boxed and appropriately labeled for the client and movers

  • Take inventory of supplies that are used for an appropriate chargeback to the client

  • All materials are hauled away to recycle or storage for reuse, and all trash disposed

  • Provides exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack/unpack, and stage/resettle the client in the new home

    Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Professional attitude and demeanor

  • Organized, detail-oriented

  • Experience in the fields of general labor or warehouse helpful

  • Good hand-eye coordination

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record

  • must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

    Physical/Environmental Requirements:

     

  • Frequent lifting of up to 30lbs, moving, climbing occasionally, transporting, placing, and removing household items for staging, liquidation, donation, and resettling

  • Walking and/or standing in varying weather environments

  • Frequent walking up and down stairs, possibly while carrying up to 30lbs
