We’re passionate about providing healthcareprofessionals the most valuable and complete solutions to improve hospital efficiency and enhance patient care.Position Summary:Responsible for inventory accuracy and management of all warehouse functions.  Key accountability is for timely and accurate receipt and put-away of raw materials, inventory integrity, delivery of raw materials and finished goods, warehouse safety and 5S.Key AccountabilitiesEssential Functions:Directly Supervise team of 10-15 warehouse employees; drive cross-trainingOversee the issuing/return of production materials to/from SAP work ordersMaintain high (98%+) accuracy for inventory levels.Control cycle counting process and perform timely reconciliations in the event of discrepanciesBe hands on; become proficient with transactions inside MRP system.Work to identify and resolve systematic errorsMonitors productivity of team, attacks obstacles/points of frustration to ensure employees can offer a high level of support to the manufacturing operationEnsure procedures are efficient, descriptive, and accurateHold employees accountable to follow proceduresDrive compliance to ISO, GMP, FDA, MDSAP regulatory requirementsRegular reporting on KPIsSubmit monthly reports as required by managementBe a champion for safetyDrive 5S; Maintain clear, unique bin locations throughout the Warehouse Management System (WMS)Maximize utilization of available warehouse spaceBe able to meet deadlines, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentSupervise incoming and outgoing deliveries.Work with service providers to maintain loading dock equipment and powered industrial trucks in safe working order, enforce lock-out, tag-out proceduresAdditional duties as assigned by ManagementBudget Managed (if applicable):Manages a warehouse budget for expenses related to packaging materials, equipment maintenance, off-site storage, ad-hoc transportation needsInternal Networking/Key Relationships:To be determined based on department needs, to incluse insteractions such as:Collaboration with production Team Leaders and SupervisorsWork with Buyers to manage stock levelsOthers to be determined based on departmental needsSkills & Capabilities: Communication skillsOrganizational and prioritization skillsProblem SolvingMentoring and Building TalentCustomer FocusDelegationMinimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:Education:Minimum of BS/BA in Business or related discipline requiredExperience:Minimum of 5 years warehouse or materials experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably FDA regulatedHands-on experience with an integrated MRP system (SAP preferred)Additional Skills/Knowledge:Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel capabilityUnderstanding of database functionalityLanguage: EnglishInternational Mobility:NoTravel Requirements: Up to 15% of time may be required for travelIf you are interested in constantly learning and being challenged on a daily basis, we encourage you to submit your resume or CV.The annual salary range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $95,000 to $130,000.  Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business.  Werfen is an Equal Opportunity employer and is committed to a diverse workplace.
