Field Service Engineer 1

As a Field Service Engineer 1 here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to gas detection systems, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business.

You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and you'll work onsite with a team. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to gas detection systems for our customers

• Provide technical support and expertise for our IA gas detection solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions

• Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers

• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on gas detection systems

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Must have at least 1 year of proven Team Player experience

• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

WE VALUE

• Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) based on job title

• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in gas detection technologies

• Experience in project management and execution

• Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
