KBF is currently seeking a Director to join our Expat riate Tax Services team.
The KBF Expatriate Tax Services group offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to support our client’s individualized needs. Services include:
Expatriate Federal and State Income Tax Compliance
Foreign Tax Compliance Coordination
Tax Planning for Inbound and Outbound Employees
Tax Equalization Calculations and Policy Review
Hypothetical Tax Consultation
Social Security/Totalization Planning and Advice
Global Mobility Consulting

Responsibilities:
Provide expatriate tax consulting and compliance services
Serve as the primary client service contact for a portfolio of Expatriate Tax clients
Proactively recognize opportunities to provide additional services
Advise clients of the tax implications relating to their personal and/or business objectives
Proactively manage project deadlines to ensure delivery of work products based on client expectations and statutory deadlines
Openly communicate with partners, clients, and teams about the status, timeline, issues, and progress of projects, tasks, and associated budgets
Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively both with the client and internally to provide superior client service
Develop self and others through feedback, training, and mentoring
Stay current on changes within the profession and business environment
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university & licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent in their home office state
Minimum 10 years of recent tax experience in public accounting
8 years’ recent focus on expatriate and individual tax services
4 years’ experience leading and mentoring a team of 2-6 Tax professionals
Motivated, quick learner with strong communication skills and demonstrated professionalism
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships
