Substitute Instructor - HVACR Technician

SUMMARY

As a HVACR Technician Instructor you will train students for employment in HVACR. Your role is key in ensuring that students develop the skills they need to be job-ready. Come enjoy the rewards of helping a new generation of HVACR students launch successful careers!

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR HVACR TECHNICIAN SUBSTITUTE INSTRUCTOR

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teach engaging lessons, using hands-on, skill-based competency training to the greatest extent possible.

• Develop and/or maintain lesson plans for classroom and lab activities.

• Manages, and supervises students in the classroom and on the practical floor.

• Evaluate instruction/learning by means of written, oral practical and performance tests.

• Maintains student-oriented approach, and desirable classroom conditions. Check equipment daily for hazards, ensuring it is maintained and properly repaired.

• Maintains accurate and current reports and records regarding student accountability, attendance, and performance.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS FOR HVACR TECHNICIAN SUBSTITUTE INSTRUCTOR

• High School diploma or equivalent is required

• Expert knowledge of HVACR curriculum

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the HVAC industry

• RMGA and EPA certified
