Job Posting: Family Office - Accounting and Tax

We are working with a family office services team, supporting the leadership of a global equity firm who focuses on investing in consumer brands looking to add a Family Office- Accounting and Tax. Based in Orinda, Ca this role offers a flexible hybrid work model and a competitive compensation. You will be joining a highly collaborative team in a beautiful office.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

· Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, bill payments, and cash flow management.

· Preparing financial statements

· Working with advisors for tax planning on strategies and ensure compliance with tax regulations

· Planning and reviewing quarterly income tax estimates and annual extensions for individual, partnership and fiduciary returns

· Researching tax related issues, respond to tax notices

· Special Projects on an as-needed basis

· Preparing and assisting with Estate Planning

Qualifications:

· Degree in accounting, finance, or economics; CPA is a plus

· 4+ years of experience working with HNW and/or ultra-high net worth clients

· Understanding of tax basis, structure charts, at risk rules

· Adobe, MS Office products, intermediate Excel

· Highly motivated; a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment
