Lockheed Martin Business Development Analyst Principle / Level 6 in Orlando, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control team is seeking a Business Development Analyst Principle to join the team. This strategy and business growth leader will be responsible for the USAF and Navy Air Launch Strike Weapons portfolio. The focus of this position is to develop and help execute the strategy for MFC to address emerging Air-to-Ground and Air-to-Surface munitions market. This position is part of the Air Dominance and Strike Weapons Strategy and Business Development group. This group is tasked to define growth strategies and identify, quantify, and capture business growth opportunities. This position will also support international opportunities on a case-by-case basis.

The selected candidate will:

  • Support product development and integration into Developmental Test, Operational Test and Service Weapons Schools
  • Develop and provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to enable the most effective use of limited company resources in addressing U.S. Air Force and Navy weapons markets
  • Help create campaign plans to capture new business, support capture teams and win competitions
  • Support development and execution of Keep Sold plans for ongoing programs
  • Communicate frequently with Government customers at the appropriate level
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new products, services, spiral development, and new business pursuits

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work and gain credibility with executive leadership, military and civilian leaders
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S Air Force or Navy or Marines weapons programs
  • Have U.S. Air Force or Navy or Marines strike weapons employment experience
  • Broad industry and Department of Defense knowledge
  • Extensive experience building strong and productive relationships with key individuals in the U.S. military
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with and lead a diverse team of experts to accomplish demanding tasks in limited timeframes
  • Ability to work in demanding, high stress environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Track record of exceptional performance in relevant assignments
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security / SCI Clearance
  • Ability to travel and support customers and suppliers as needed
  • Bachelors degree Desired Skills:
  • U.S Air Force Officer with Weapons School experience
  • Working knowledge of US military acquisition process, requirements development and budgetary process
  • Capture experience in the Air Launch market Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
