Lockheed Martin has an exciting opportunity for an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer in Orlando, FL. This person will have familiarity with printed wiring boards, circuit/electronic card assemblies, harness assemblies and sub-assemblies. Knowledge and design of electronics chassis, and enclosures is also desirable. Individual will be required to be the responsible engineer for Advanced Programs, Special Programs and IRAD programs.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Packaging design updates and design documentation processing including Requirements/Concepts (RC) Design Assurance (DA) Reviews, Implementation (I) DA Reviews, Pre-Release (PR) DA Reviews, EPCAD input packages and fully released drawings

- Create and correlate analytical models to provide guidance for product development

- Interfacing with EE, SE, PS, Planning, Program Management, Prod Ops and ME in a team dynamic

- Research, design, develop, and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment

- Have required existing CREO experience

Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Proficient in CREO modeling

Familiarity with CCA and Cable/harness design and development, electronic packaging design

Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Desired Skills:

Zuken E3 experience

Windchill experience

Experience with Military defense hardware

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
