Responsible for program and life-cycle management of a Training Aids Devices Simulations and Simulators (TADSS) product line within the Warfighter -Training readiness Solutions contract. Regular interface with Government counterpart for the management of TADSS product line. Accountable to the PM on assigned task orders for cost, schedule, and performance with direct oversight of subcontractors and project risk. Coordinates with Technical Direction Letter (TDL) response team for the development of Technical Direction Plans (TDP).

DESCRIPTION:

  • Leads and guides personnel assigned to MCCT-related tasks.

  • Manages MCCT project performance and is responsible for quality/efficiency.

  • Serve as primary POC to assigned PdL APM. Responsible for submission of all weekly TADSS updates, usage reports (weekly & quarterly), oversight of scheduling administration and the monitoring/surveillance of daily activities.

  • Provides immediate responsiveness to assigned PdL APM for information/reporting requirements, and changes in portfolio or status. Responds to all MCCT PdL-related TDLs and supports PMO with TDP development aligned with PdL.

  • Oversees TDP performance and is responsible for quality/efficiency. Provides the full spectrum of management duties and responsibilities for all TDL/TDP requirements and establishes and maintains the fiscal and budgetary requirements.

  • Leads and guides TDP Project Managers assigned to PdL; may serve as TDP Project Manager.

  • Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including the financial, quality, technology, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries, company expectations, and established standards, using the approved business model and management tools.

  • Manages the program risk and opportunity, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.

  • Uses approved control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identifies potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and ensures the meeting of company’s contract commitments

  • Supervises and integrates the performance of the program Integrated Product Teams

Develops customer and program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations; such as contracts, finance, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline required

  • Minimum 14 years prior relevant experience Defense and Technical

  • Practical experience and knowledge of MCCT and related TADSS

  • Minimum 6 yrs of Constructive Simulations; Army Training Strategies

  • Minimum 6 yrs of Constructive Simulations; MCCT Experience

  • Minimum 6 yrs of Technical and cost proposal leadership; Proposal Mgmt.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in related discipline required preferred

  • PMP preferred

    REQUIREMENT:

Active and Current U.S. Secret Clearance

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The worker is primarily in an office environment. Programs will require travel to and working in outside environments at government locations from hot and dry to cold and humid. PPE required to mitigate environmental and safety hazards.
