NBC Universal Lead Attendant - Catering Facilities (CDL Required) in Orlando, Florida
JOB SUMMARY: Manages and controls Catering equipment and inventory used by the Catering Department. Supports the Catering Captains and Catering Managers in the acquisition of equipment, product and inventory needed to support each function. Provides day to day direction to Catering Facilities team to support overall catering and event success. Periodically needs to drive a truck that requires a CDL driver’s license.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the Catering operation during events. Provides direction to team that transports, distributes, and collects all necessary equipment and food and beverage in support of and throughout events. Maintains proper inventory par levels based on business needs. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Provides work direction to team members. Communicates performance, behavior standards and expectations; provides feedback from recognition and performance improvement.
Captures written behaviors using the Lead Observation Report to support managerial and supervisory documentation.
Assists with training new and current employees. Assigns who will provide daily training.
Informs employees of current and new company policies and procedures. Observes and directs staff member’s compliance with wardrobe and grooming standards.
Performs job duties as described in non-lead job description.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: High school degree or GED preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 6+ months experience providing work direction preferred and/or Catering experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Will be required to complete UO Forklift Certification . Must have a valid Florida Class B driver’s license.
