Siemens Energy Lead (f/m/d) Grid Enhancing Technology and Architecture Governance - Global in Orlando, Florida

In the face of an evolving energy landscape, marked by the escalating integration of renewable resources, the role of Grid Enhancing Technology and Architecture Governance Lead within the Grid Enhancing Technologies division becomes paramount. Your position is strategic, focusing on a broad spectrum within our IoT and Edge and grid enhancing portfolio. Your efforts will be pivotal in steering the future direction of grid planning, operation, and maintenance, covering a wide array of initiatives such as product development to market applications and beyond.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Playing a key role in the broad scope of Software, hardware development and related processes, ensuring quality, reuse and scale of components.

  • Engaging in deep collaboration with adjacent functions to weave innovative solutions into the fabric of our portfolio, thereby enriching our market offering and strategic positioning.

  • Govern and regulate the processes of product, solution development across the business unit, as well cyber security and data structures compliances.

  • Championing a culture of innovation and forward-thinking across multidisciplinary teams, encouraging a holistic and integrated approach to tackling the challenges and opportunities within the energy sector.

What You Bring

  • Completed degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by a broad experience in the energy sector, particularly in areas related to IoT and Edge, and grid enhancements.

  • A track record of involvement in diverse initiatives within the energy sector, showcasing a capacity for strategic thinking and innovation and customer orientation approach, with expertise on Software, System Architecture and quality assurance processes.

  • Experience in adapting to and navigating the complexities of the power transmission and distribution landscape, with a keen eye on future trends and technological advancements.

  • An inherent ability to travel as needed to align with strategic business objectives and stakeholder engagements, both regionally and globally.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, albeit without direct team lead responsibilities, showcasing the ability to influence and drive initiatives across multidisciplinary teams and geographical boundaries.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at managing relationships within a multi-stakeholder environment, prioritizing effectively, and guiding strategic discussions towards actionable outcomes.
