As a Legal Counsel assigned to the Gas Services, Centralized business in Siemens Energy you will support, large frame gas turbine new unit sales opportunities, the associated commercial contracts and suggest innovative ways to deal with contract requirements, negotiations, obligations, and exposures to internal business partners and end-customers.

How You’ll Make anImpact

• Write,review, analyze, modify, and negotiate complex contractual documents to achieveacceptable risk levels.

• Write,review, analyze, modify, and negotiate settlement agreements, confidentialityagreements, letters of intent, changes to existing agreements for service andequipment, and other contractual terms and conditions.

• Summarizeand prepare risk summaries for review and approval by management.

• Provideclaims handling and litigation support, from time to time, for various mattersincluding projects in execution.

• Providesupport for corporate governance and compliance matters.

• Reviewand provide legal advice relating to high profile contracts, subcontracts,bids, equipment agreements, sales transactions, project implementation issuesand general corporate matters.

• Conductlegal research and provide ongoing legal support within territory.

What You Bring

• Legal degree required and must be admitted/licensedto practice law in one or more states.

• Minimum of 8+ years of legal experience in a lawfirm or corporate in-house position (drafting and negotiating contracts).

• Strong negotiation skills, detail oriented, able tohandle multiple projects at the same time.

• Strong Customer Orientation.

• Pragmatic approach to problem solving and strongflexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.

• Team player who can also work independently andthrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to communicate clearly and concisely with arange of associates as well as senior executives.

• The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendationsand gather team consensus to move forward.

• Excellent communication, writing, meetingfacilitation skills!

• Ability and flexibility for domestic andinternational travel up to 10-20%.

• Commercial transaction and energy industryexperience is strongly preferred.

• Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States without need for currentor future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees withcurrent visa sponsorship maybe eligible for internal transfers.
