Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Assembler Apprentice in Orlando, Florida

Lockheed Martin is seeking to develop our next generation of assemblers through a partnership with Valencia College's Accelerated Skills Training - Electronic Board Assembly Program and a follow-on Apprenticeship at the Training and Logistics Solutions factory in east Orlando.

In this role you'll have an opportunity to develop your skills as an Assembler Apprentice while supporting a variety of products and programs.

These products range from:

-Cables and harnesses that support a variety of missile launcher systems.

-Subassemblies for the imaging systems used on the Virginia and Columbia class submarines.

-Racks, cabinets and consoles for controlling Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers and testing avionics onboard Aircraft Carriers.

-High fidelity simulators/trainers for the Abrams, F-16, and F-35.

Basic Qualifications:

-Complete Valencia's Electronic Board Assembly program or equivalent apprenticeship pre-hire training.

-Current WHMA-A-620 Certification with demonstrated Class 3 workmanship.

-Current J-STD-001 Certification with demonstrated Class 3 workmanship.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
