Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Planner Senior for the Production Planning and Control team. The Production Planning & Control (PP&C) organization is a critical component of Lockheed Martin's manufacturing operations, responsible for developing and executing plans to produce high-quality products on time and within budget. As a key enabler of production success, PP&C teams work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize production schedules, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Supply Planner/Demand Planner, you will be responsible for managing the planning process for assigned programs, including releasing purchase orders, monitoring production schedules, and updating material part numbers and bills of material. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and resolve any planning-related issues. Your responsibilities will include:
• Oversight of program planning elements, including purchase order release and material management
• Monitoring production schedules from multiple manufacturing sites and centers
• Creation and updates of Material Part Numbers and Bills of Material
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve planning-related issues
• Analyzing and resolving complex planning problems

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education and 5+ years of professional level experience
Past experience in Make/Buy/BOM Planning
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs; including SAP, Microsoft Office
Very good organization and communication skills
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Must be able to work outside of the normal operating hours as required.
Must be a US Citizen and hold an active Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
