You will be the Mult Func Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager for the Optical Components Center team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Mult Func Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager , you will be responsible for managing a highly diverse team of Make Hardware Reps. and represented Material Processors supporting product flow for multiple programs through the development and production manufacturing processes in the Missiles and Fire Control - Orlando Optical Components Center (OCC).
Responsibilities include -
Coordinate daily activities with manufacturing, engineering, and quality counterparts to identify and react to changing needs and priorities. Give status to all levels of management.
Attending multiple meetings in support of programs and manufacturing management. Ability to assign different personnel to support internal operation plan (IOP) and critical schedule milestones.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a completed Bachelors degree in a related field
- Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Understand the management of budgets.
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
- Ability to assign projects to organizational unit by leading staff to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and time sensitive technical or operational issues.
- Green Belt certified OR ability to demonstrate knowledge and principles of green belt certification put into practice
-Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, and internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
- Related experience in material handling, control systems and ERP systems (SAP)
Desired Skills:
- Experience leading in a manufacturing and union environment
- Masters degree in a related field
- Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
- Make Planning experience
- SAP Materials Management and Inventory Control Subject Matter Expert
- Black Belt trained / certified
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
- APRISO experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
