Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 12pm-10pm
Major Responsibilities
Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the operations staff that are necessary for business execution.
Plans and prioritizes work assignments for the team to ensure optimal productivity and workflow. Assigns staff to tasks based on availability or expertise.
Tracks processes and adherence and prepares reports detailing quality and efficiency of team.
Handles basic problems and challenges within the department/functional area.
Supports the Department Manager or Operations Manager in providing regular coaching and conducting performance conversations with associates.
Champions and maintains a clean and safe environment.
Interacts with and supports leadership team and other departments to resolve operational issues.
Identifies areas for process improvements, helps develop plans to meet established and future business needs, and implements changes.
Supports and delivers associate training and communications.
Understands and demonstrates Essendant’s Values and Guiding Principles.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge Required
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to solve problems, achieve results and foster strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work as part of a team with a high degree of initiative, team building and dedication to positively effect change.
Detail oriented.
Intermediate computer skills.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum two or more years of job-related experience required.
